Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) offers ACEN student scholarships in Australia. The scholarships are open to final year students in all disciplines from institutions that are financial members of ACEN.  ACEN Student Scholarships in Australia are to support students who will undertake a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activity in a regional or remote area of Australia* as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate education.

Eligibility: –be a final year student -be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree -The placement must be: 1.Undertaken in 2013 in Inner Regional, Outer Regional, Remote and Very Remote locations which requires students to relocate from their home address 2. Fulltime (4-5 days per week, for a minimum of three weeks duration) 3. Within Australia.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Final year students in all disciplines from institutions that are financial members of ACEN can apply.

Scholarship Description: The Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) is the professional association for practitioners and researchers from the tertiary education sector, industry, community and government representatives, involved in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in Australia. The aim of the 2013 ACEN Student Scholarship is to support students who will undertake a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activity in a regional or remote area of Australia as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate education.

Number of award(s): Five scholarships are offered.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is to undertake a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) fulltime (4-5 days per week, for a minimum of three weeks duration)activity in a regional or remote area of Australia.

What does it cover? In 2013 ACEN is offering five scholarships, each valued at $1,500, to assist students undertaking placements.

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified on 29th July, 2013.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. Application process is as follows: -1 March 2013: Call for nominations: Online Applications advertised. -15 April 2013: Step 1 Applications close: Evidence of WIL activity and hardship -13 May 2013: Step 2: Short-listed applicants notified and asked to provide supporting information indicated in the application -10 June, 2013: Step 3 of the Applications close: Evidence of Achievement in the previous 12 months or in relation to the current placement which relates to this application. -29 July, 2013: Successful applicants notified.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is April 15, 2013.
